Sunresin's ion exchange resins for starch base sweeteners purification

图片
The starch base sweeteners are produced from Wheat, Rice, Corn(Maize),Tapioca and etc. There are various types of starch sweeteners like: Glucose, Fructose, High fructose corn, syrupMaltose,Maltodextrin,Dextrose, and etc. The production of the starch sweeteners will need the Demineralization and Deashing which is the process of removing ash, protein and color and any other impurities from the solution. Seplite LSF970 series resins are sugar grade polystyrene ion exchange resins including cation and anion resin for starch sugar treatment, mainly for demineralization and decoloration of sugar syrup. The resin can totally replace active carbon for decoloration with higher efficiency, more clean process and more economical effect. The resins are approved by HALA certificate and widely used in starch sugar production. In starch sugar syrup filtration, LSF970 cation resin and LSF972 anion resin work together to remove salts, metal ions, organic, color, acids, and other impurities - resulting in

What is water demineralization by Ion exchange?

图片
Demineralization is a process of removing mineral salt from water by using ion-exchange. The resulted water after the process will be free of dissolved minerals. Demineralization will involve Distillation, Deionization, Membrane Filtration or Electrodyalisis. Demineralized water with minerals removed is known as de-ionized water.  Deionization is a physical process that removes mineral ions such as cations of sodium, calcium, iron, copper, sulphate, nitrate, etc.  The process involves several steps which starts by flowing the raw water through two polystyrene bed with ion exchange resins.  The first polystyrene bed is used to exchange cations and hydrogen ions while the second one, hydroxyl ions and the anions are exchanged. Sunresin's premium grade mixed bed resin Seplite MB20 is very suitable for water demineralization. The resin is mixed with 40% cation and 60% anion resins and is used fo producing high purity water after RO for many industries like Water engineering, EDM

Selective ion exchange resins for Perchlorate removal from water

The EPA defines the Perchlorate as a contaminant in water. It is found that perchlorate may have an adverse effect on the health of persons and  is known to occur in public drinking water systems with a frequency and at levels that present a public health concern.  Sunresin produces a special type of selective ion exchange resin Seplite LSC106 for perchlorate removal, especially from drinking water. With its special matrix and tributylamine function group, the resin can realize high selectivity for perchlorate. In operation, Seplite LSC106 shows good mechanical strengh and excellent mechanical strength to osmotic and thermal shock. Since not easy handling the regeneration effluent, this resin is not suggested to be regenerated for recycling use. For any interest, pls kindly refer to our website: http://en.sunresin.com/

Anion ion exchange resins for Nitrate removal from water

The Environmental Protection Agency has set a maximum contaminant level of 10 mg/L for nitrate and nitrite in public water supplies. Nitrate in water is undetectable without testing because it is colorless, odorless, and tasteless. A water test for nitrate is highly recommended for  households with infants, pregnant women, nursing mothers, or elderly people. These groups are the most susceptible to nitrate or nitrite contamination. Sunresin produces the high quality LSC106 plus anion resin which is specially designed for Nitrate removal from water and any other aqueous solution. The resin with its triethylamine functional group is with high selectivity to NO3 in water.  The resin is with high capacity and physic stability, the special improvement on matrix makes it better resistant to pressures.
