Sunresin's ion exchange resins for starch base sweeteners purification


The starch base sweeteners are produced from Wheat, Rice, Corn(Maize),Tapioca and etc. There are various types of starch sweeteners like: Glucose, Fructose, High fructose corn,syrupMaltose,Maltodextrin,Dextrose,and etc.

The production of the starch sweeteners will need the Demineralization and Deashing which is the process of removing ash, protein and color and any other impurities from the solution.

Seplite LSF970 series resins are sugar grade polystyrene ion exchange resins including cation and anion resin for starch sugar treatment, mainly for demineralization and decoloration of sugar syrup.The resin can totally replace active carbon for decoloration with higher efficiency, more clean process and more economical effect.

The resins are approved by HALA certificate and widely used in starch sugar production.
In starch sugar syrup filtration, LSF970 cation resin and LSF972 anion resin work together
to remove salts, metal ions, organic, color,acids, and other impurities - resulting in the syrup which is relatively free of ions and color.

Sunresin's chelating ion exchange resin for Boron removal

Boron is the type of toxic element that come into water due to pesticide and fertilizer runoff, sewage spills, and coal production etc.  The EPA regulates the Boron concentration limit of 0.5mg/L as drinking water standard. Sunresin produces the chelating ion exchange resin LSC780 which is with the function group N-Methylglucamine and has the high  selectivity to Boron. SEPLITE LSC780 resin works with the excellent efficiency to remove Boron (borate) mainly from ground water, irrigation water and other high  Boron concentration brine. With its good kinetics and regeneration efficiency, the resin is very cost effective in the large scale operation.
